Together, let's create a more mindful world!

Hi, I'm India 🐝…

I created the Bee Restful Barn in San Diego, CA as a place for women who are holding everything, and need somewhere to finally put it down.

My work lives at the intersection of deep rest, nervous system healing, and mindful, earth-connected living. This isn’t about fixing you. It’s about creating the conditions for your body to unwind, regulate, and remember what it feels like to be at ease.

The path that brought me here

Before creating the Bee Restful Barn, I spent many years supporting women globally to build businesses and achieve economic independence. I've lived and worked in multiple countries, including in the Amazon rainforest where I cared for trafficked wildlife, and served in the Peace Corps in the Andes mountains of Bolivia. These experiences helped shape my understanding of what it means to be in right relationship with ourselves, each other, and Mother Earth.

Over the years, I've had the honor of guiding people through some of life's most tender and complex moments: supporting veterans, survivors of sexual assault, those at end-of-life, and individuals navigating burnout, grief, insomnia, and transition. I've also trained and mentored yoga teachers and facilitated retreats internationally.

Through all of it, a truth that became clear is that we cannot sustain the pace, pressure, and disconnection we've been taught to live in. We don't need more pressure to change. We need spaces that allow us to rest.

How I work with you

My approach is gentle, trauma-informed, and deeply respectful of your pace.

Through Yoga Nidra, sound, and intentional space-holding, I create environments where you don’t have to perform, explain, or push, but only arrive, just as you are.

This work is informed by years of study and practice, including mindfulness training with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach, certification as an I AM Yoga Nidra™ Facilitator, and ongoing education in trauma-informed, somatic, and equity-centered care. I’ve also completed climate leadership training through Climate Reality Leadership Corps.

I’ve shared this work in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, community spaces, and at gatherings like Sedona Yoga Festival.

I’m the creator of the Bee Mindful Oracle Deck and co-creator of the Bee Mindful Yoga Nidra app, both designed to bring rest and regulation into everyday life.

A place to land

If you’re here, you don’t need to have the right words or know exactly what you need. You don’t need to be further along, or more healed, or less overwhelmed.

You just need a place to land. You’re welcome here.

Who This Space Is For

This work is for those who are ready to slow down, listen inward, and be supported in a more intentional way.

You may feel:

  • overwhelmed, anxious, or chronically stressed

  • exhausted or burned out from holding too much for too long

  • in a season of transition, grief, or uncertainty

  • disconnected from your body, your rest, or your sense of self

You are seeking:

  • a deeper sense of calm, balance, and nervous system regulation

  • meaningful, sustainable ways to care for yourself

  • a space where you can soften, be held, and reconnect

This space tends to resonate most with women and leaders who are ready to move out of survival mode and into a more grounded, present way of living.

Who This Work May Not Be For (And Additional Support)

The work I offer is gentle, restorative, and supportive, and it is not a replacement for medical, psychological, or addiction treatment.

At this time, I am not able to work with individuals who are:

  • in active addiction

  • in immediate crisis or requiring acute mental health support

  • seeking clinical therapy or medical intervention

If you are navigating any of the above, you deserve skilled, specialized care and deeper support than I can provide in this setting.
