YOGA NIDRA

India studied directly with Kamini Desai, PhD to become a Certified I AM Yoga Nidra™ Facilitator, and studied separately with Indu Aurora. She has been teaching and sharing Yoga Nidra for close to 15 years working 1:1 with clients, within corporations, non-profit organizations, and yoga studios. She has worked with terminally ill patients, veterans and their caregivers, and co-taught a 4-hour Yoga Nidra workshop at the 2015 Sedona Yoga Festival.

Yoga Nidra invites the body into profound rest, allows prana to expand, and offers the mind a chance to reset. With sincere and consistent practice, it becomes a powerful tool for working with habits, patterns, and addictions. Yoga Nidra is one of the most advanced gateways into the true state of Yoga.

At the heart of Yoga Nidra lies sankalpa. Formed from sat (that which is eternally true) and kalpa (an immeasurable span of time). Sankalpa is not a passing desire, but a soul-level commitment. Planted in the subtlest layers of consciousness, it supports self-realization and initiates profound personal transformation at a molecular level.

Studies have shown that Yoga Nidra can help with insomnia, balancing hormones, healing post-traumatic stress, and reducing stress and tension in our both our bodies and minds.

SOUND HEALING

India studied with Gong Master, Duane Armitage and has been sharing gong baths and sound healing for over a decade. She designed and hosted the first ever sound bath at the Japanese Friendship Garden of Phoenix with multiple sound healers sharing vibration from gongs and other instruments, and co-created the multi-gong bath closing ceremony at the first annual Sedona Yoga Festival in 2013.

Sound Baths are an immersive, full body experience that use the power of  vibration and sound to relax the mind through nourishing our nervous systems.

Sessions involve lying down while sound waves wash over you and through you, often bringing calm, clarity, or emotional release.

Sound baths can invite deep relaxation, decrease stress and anxiety, and improve sleep, leaving you feeling deeply balanced, rested, and rejuvenated.

Sound healing isn’t new. For centuries, people across many cultures, including Tibetan and Buddhist traditions, have used sound to ease pain, calm the mind, and support healing.
